Taste of the Market Breakfast – 2/2

We kicked off last weekend with Saturday brunch at the Dane County Winter Farmers’ Market. The meal was served by Slow Food Madison and included the following:

Frittata with rainbow potatoes, fresh herbs, and Parmesan cheese
Green salad with shredded carrots, beets, and feta cheese
Bacon or sauteed mushrooms with onions and garlic
Homemade raspberry jam scone square
Cranberry or apple juice
Just Coffee fair trade coffee

The meal was sourced by many Dane County Farmers’ Market producers including: Blue Valley Gardens, Butter Mountain Potatoes, Capri Cheese, Don’s Produce, Gitto Family Farm n’ Kitchen, Herb n’ Oyster, Hooks Cheese, Jordandal Farm, Pecatonica Valley Farm, Renaissance Farm and Sutter’s Ridge Farm.

The Taste of the Market Breakfasts continue at the Winter Farmers’ Market through April 13 (at the Madison Senior Center).
