Slow Food UW Cafe Lunch – 2/5

DSC01578Today’s Slow Food UW Cafe menu featured many enticing options. I opted for the meatloaf sandwich with homemade ketchup (on onion bread), the curried bean salad, and a rosemary butter thumbprint cookie with raspberry/strawberry filling. The meatloaf sandwich, made with grass fed beef from Jordanal farms, was excellent. I also loved the rosemary butter thumbprint cookie, especially the subtle rosemary flavor, and the nice, grainy texture of the cookie.
